Description

Thanks to Honeywell’s use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, you can install, commission and maintain your Sensepoint XCL gas detector — all from the palm of your hand. Simply pair the detector with your smartphone: then use Honeywell’s Sensepoint XCL gas detector app to wirelessly perform many tasks — from adjusting set points to checking fault codes — from up to 10 meters away.
Everything you need for installation is in the box, organized for fast, convenient startup. Use our simple drilling templates and a standard toolkit for installation. And for initial calibration, all you need is our gas detector app on your smartphone and a cylinder of calibration gas — no need for walkie-talkie guidance with the control room. Use the app to create a profile for the detector, choose alarm set points, run test procedures and automatically generate a commissioning report, which you can send from your phone to other stakeholders or store for easy access in a safety inspection. No need for paperwork.
Sensepoint XCL’s smartphone-based experience significantly reduces the time you spend on gas detector maintenance. For sensor replacement, simply remove one screw on the cover plate, and our app guides you on the rest. And when doing maintenance checks, our app puts diagnostic information at your fingertips.
You can also save valuable time with easy reporting on the smartphone app. Whether you need a maintenance report for a certain detector or a gas history for a safety audit, just select the right report on the app and send it to other parties — or store it for easy recall.
For a complete gas leak detection system, Sensepoint XCL has the perfect partner in Touchpoint Plus, a configurable, easy-to-use controller for up to sixteen channels of gas detection. Find out more about Touchpoint

Description

These multi-spectrum flame detectors sense radiant energy in the ultraviolet (UV), visible and WideBand InfraredTM (IR) spectrum.

Product Overview:
The SS2-AM and SS2-AML are the ultra-high speed digital Multi-Spectrum optical models of the SS2 UV/IR Flame Detectors. These detectors feature ultra-high speed responses to explosive fires and are typically used in munitions production, explosives production and special applications.

The field of view for the SS2 Flame Detector is the widest in the industry with a 120° cone of vision. This means each detector can cover more hazard area. Greater sensitivity also increases the volume covered by each detector, up to four times more than some other detectors.

Using sophisticated microprocessor signal processing algorithms with complete spectrum information, virtual immunity to false alarms from arc welding, corona discharge and other common UV sources is achieved.

Additional Features and Benefits:

SS2-A and SS2-AN:
• Multi-Spectrum senses ultraviolet, visible and WideBand IR™
• Detects hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon based fires
• Wide field-of-view and solar blind
• Greatest sensitivity with false alarm immunity
• Microprocessor abased algorithms: FirePic™ and Tri-Mode Plot™
• Wide temperature range of operation
• Explosion-proof housing
• Proven in worldwide applications
• FS2000™ System compatible or standalone operation
• Compatible with approved fire alarm panels

Description

Transmitter provides comprehensive monitoring of combustible, toxic and Oxygen gas hazards in potentially explosive atmospheres – indoors and outdoors.

Product Overview:

Sensepoint XCD now has remote monitoring capabilities for its toxic and Oxygen sensors. Its remote capability is designed to offer excellent flexibility of use and is an ideal solution for hard-to-reach locations or areas where the transmitter needs to be separate from the sensor. With remote toxic and Oxygen sensor mounting of up to 100 feet (30m) away from the transmitter, Sensepoint XCD provides a robust monitoring solution even in challenging environments where detection is difficult, including applications where the point of detection is in an area that is not easily accessible or where the detector would not be visible, like in high or low level concealed areas or outside a room being monitored.

Sensepoint XCD is easy to use. The sensor simply plugs into the bottom of the transmitter and the transmitter automatically configures itself accordingly. Users can modify detector operation using the LCD and magnet switches without ever needing to open the unit. This enables one-man, non-intrusive operation and reduces routine maintenance time and costs.

A tri-color backlit LCD clearly indicates the unit’s status at a glance, even from a distance. A steady green backlight indicates normal operation, flashing yellow indicates fault and flashing red indicates an alarm.

All detectors are supplied pre-configured and include two programmable alarm relays, one programmable fault relay as well as an industry standard 4-20mA output (sink or source selectable) and MODBUS communication. The scale, range, relay operation, alarm set point and electronic tag number of the detector can be adjusted using the transmitter’s LCD and non-intrusive magnetic switches. Outputs are automatically inhibited during adjustment, thereby reducing the risk of false alarm at the control panel during maintenance.

Additional Features and Benefits:

All-In-One Gas Monitoring Solution

• Flammable (catalytic or infrared), toxic and oxygen versions available
• Serves new/retrofit, indoor/outdoor applications
• Stainless steel or aluminum explosion-proof housing options
• IP66 as standard

Proven and Reliable Sensor Technology

• SurecellTM electrochemical sensors
• Poison immune infrared sensors
• Poison resistant catalytic bead sensors
• Long life sensors

Description

Supports the widest range of sensors on a common platform and offers a modular choice of inputs and outputs (saving customers time and money).

Product Overview:
XNX’s advantage comes from a simple-to-use, low-maintenance universal platform that works with other safety equipment on a digital bus system, including Honeywell Analytics’ own Searchline Excel, Optima or other gas detectors, industry standard PLCs and third-party gas monitoring controllers.

XNX supports Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead gas monitors and uses standard 4-20mA wiring and HART: options include Modbus, Fieldbus (pending) up to three relays and a local Hart Adapter for configuration and diagnostics using existing HART handheld devices.

With 200+ unique configurations, XNX satisfies Class 1/Class 2 intrinsically safe, explosion-proof requirements in upstream/downstream oil, chemical, wastewater and other industries.

The enclosure is available in stainless steel or aluminum, with a marine-grade coating. Five threaded ports, available in metric or NPT versions, and ruggedized mounting options provide ultimate installation flexibility. Instrumentation built on various sensing technologies can be attached locally to the transmitter or remotely with the appropriate accessories.

Features & Benefits:
• Flammable gas detection 0 to 100% LFL/LEL
• Flexible operation options
• Minimal training required

Quick Specs:
• Material: LM25 aluminum, painted (SS316 painted optional)
• Temperature: -40° to +65°C / -40° to +150°F (sensor dependent)
• Humidity: 20 to 90% RH (non-condensing)
